Privacy

The short version: Honey-Do has no accounts, no analytics, no ads and no tracking. Your projects live on your iPhone. The only time anything leaves the device is when you ask an AI provider to generate a plan.

What stays on your phone

Everything you make in the app is stored in the app's own documents folder on your device: project photos, requests, checklists, blueprints, honey points, and the running ledger of what each AI request cost. API keys you enter are stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system. None of it is sent to us. We run no accounts and keep no copy.

What leaves your phone, and when

When you generate a plan with your own API key, the photo you chose, any reference pictures or documents you attached, and the text of your request are sent directly from your phone to the AI provider you selected using your key. That provider is OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter, or, if you chose Custom, whatever endpoint you entered yourself. There are no services of ours in between, so we never see your photos or requests. What the provider does with them is governed by that provider's own privacy policy and the terms of your account with them.

Nothing else leaves the device. Sharing a plan renders a PDF on the phone and hands it to the iOS share sheet, so it travels only where you send it.

Purchases

All purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive aggregate sales reports from Apple, never your payment details or your identity.

Deleting your data

Delete a project and it is gone from your device. Delete the app and everything goes with it, apart from Keychain entries, which you can remove from Settings inside the app first. There is nothing to ask us to delete, because we never had it.

Changes

If the app ever starts handling data differently, this page will change first, with a new effective date at the top.
